
Terms & Conditions - After Renovation Cleaning
Our cleaning services are tailored to different needs, and terms and conditions vary by service. Service-specific details are provided in advance to ensure transparency and clarity.
1. Scope of Work
The cleaning service will be carried out as outlined in the quotation. Any additional tasks requested on-site that fall outside the agreed scope may incur additional charges. No extra work will be undertaken without prior client approval.
2. Site Access & Safety
The property must be safe, secure, and fully accessible for our cleaning team on the agreed date. Any hazardous areas, exposed wiring, unsafe flooring, sharp objects, or active construction zones must be made safe prior to our arrival. NeatPro reserves the right to refuse or reschedule work if the environment is deemed unsafe.
3. Completion of Building Works
All major construction, decorating, installation, and snagging works must be fully completed before cleaning begins. The presence of ongoing works or tradespeople may affect the quality and scope of the clean and may result in additional charges or rescheduling.
4. Removal of Materials & Waste
All construction materials, tools, equipment, rubble, paint tins, plasterboard, and large debris must be removed prior to the clean. NeatPro does not provide construction waste removal unless agreed in writing in advance.
5. Utilities
Running water and electricity must be available and fully operational throughout the cleaning period. If utilities are unavailable, we reserve the right to reschedule and apply a revisit fee.
6. Dust & Post-Construction Residue
Due to the nature of renovation and building works, residual dust may settle after the clean has been completed. While we take all reasonable steps to remove dust and debris, we cannot guarantee a completely dust-free environment once further air movement or access occurs.
7. Surface Condition & Pre-Existing Damage
NeatPro is not responsible for pre-existing damage, poor workmanship, improperly sealed surfaces, scratched glass, paint splashes, grout haze, adhesive residues, or surfaces not suitable for standard cleaning methods. Some marks or residues may be permanent or require specialist treatment beyond the scope of a standard after-build clean.
8. Parking & Access
Suitable parking must be provided as close to the property as reasonably possible to allow safe unloading of equipment. Parking charges, permits, or access restrictions must be arranged in advance by the client unless otherwise agreed.
9. Delays & Restricted Access
If access is restricted, tradespeople are present, works are incomplete, or materials remain on site at the time of arrival, NeatPro reserves the right to reschedule the service and/or apply additional charges, including a revisit fee.
10. Inspection & Acceptance
We recommend a client inspection immediately upon completion. If the client is not present, photographic evidence may be provided. Any concerns must be reported in writing within 24 hours of completion. After this period, the service will be deemed accepted.
11. Revisits & Additional Cleans
If further cleaning is required due to additional works carried out after our visit, or due to ongoing dust or trade activity, this will be quoted and invoiced separately.
12. Payment Terms
A 25% deposit is required to secure the booking. The remaining balance is payable upon completion of the cleaning service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may incur additional charges.
13. Cancellations
Cancellations or rescheduling must be made with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Deposits may be non-refundable for late cancellations or where the site is not ready on arrival.
14. Limitation of Liability
NeatPro’s liability is limited to the value of the cleaning service provided. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or third-party losses.
15. Insurance
NeatPro holds appropriate public liability insurance. Documentation can be provided upon request.
